‘MEGHAN’S A BOLTER!’

-

To most of us, it seems like a match made in heaven. But Prince Harry (33) and Meghan Markle’s marriage is doomed to failure, according to one outspoken critic.

Australian feminist and writer Germaine Greer (79) believes Meghan (36) will take off once she realises what life is like inside the palace.

“I think she’ll bolt,” Germaine told a TV interviewer. “She’s bolted before. She was out the door.”

Actress Meghan – who was previously married to producer Trevor Engelson (41) – is likely to find royal life boring, added Germaine.

“Let’s hope they’re in love. If they’re not, it’s going to be totally unbearable. She will see vistas of boredom that are unbelievable. I think the pressure to escape from

The Firm is crushing.”

However, Andrew Morton, author of a book called Meghan: A Hollywood Princess, says part of the reason the royal family has warmed to Meghan is because she has already shown willingness to be “a team player”.

“She is realising that being part of the monarchy is not a sprint, you are in for life.”
