Masterton couple Liesel and Hayden tied the knot on February 3, 2018 after being engaged for two and a half years. The week of the wedding proved very stressful – the pair had to set up marquees in Hayden’s mum’s garden in 30-degree heat and cyclone winds! Two days before the ceremony, four of the marquees broke, including the main one. The race was on to get everything fixed, but family and friends pitched in to make everything perfect, including making the decorations. “Thanks to all of our friends and family who helped us put our wedding together, it really was a team effort,” says Liesel. “I can now say I have married the man of my dreams, the father of our beautiful son Mason.”
