Happy birthday, MA’AM
COME ONE, COME ALL, TO ROYAL ALBERT HALL...
It wouldn’t be a birthday without a party. And it wouldn’t be Queen Elizabeth’s birthday without a big show at the Royal Albert Hall.
The royal family turned out in full force to celebrate the monarch’s 92nd last week, joining her in the Royal Box to enjoy special performances from Kylie Minogue, Sting and the less conventional choice, Shaggy. Soon-to-be-wed couple Prince Harry (33) and Meghan Markle (36) made a very glam appearance, as did
Prince William (35), right before his second son made his own special appearance. But the show wouldn’t have been complete without its traditional awkward humour, with Her Majesty scoffing and eye-rolling as Prince Charles (69) referred to her as “mummy”.
