SHOCK SURGERY

ZARA’S MAN IS BREATHING EASIER THANKS TO CORRECTIVE SURGERY

-

Mike Tindall’s got a new look

Thirty-four years since breaking his schnoz for the first time, Mike Tindall has finally had corrective surgery on his nose – and my, what a difference!

The former England rugby captain, who is expecting his second child with wife Zara, now proudly sports a perfectly straight nose, following at least eight more breaks during his 12-year sporting career.

But the surgery wasn’t just for vanity, Mike has had breathing problems for a number of years.

He admitted on a television sports show that his mother-inlaw, Princess Anne, asked him to have the surgery before he married Zara, as she was worried about how their wedding photographs would look. However, with the 2011 Rugby World Cup looming, Mike refused, unwilling to cause any disruption to the team’s intense preparation.

But it seems his breathing difficulties finally became a bit too much.

“I don’t really want to get it fixed but it looks like I might have to because I can’t actually breathe really well … I guess it’s something similar to a pug,” he told a newspaper in 2015.

It looks like his timing is perfect; with Mike showing off his new visage during a fun run in East Sussex last week. He should be fully healed by the time Zara gives birth in June or July this year.
