Avatar revamp

-

Could it be? Will ABBA rule the pop world again? The four original members of the popular group announced they’ve recorded two brand new songs, with one, I Still Have Faith in You, set for release in December.

But there’s a catch. Holograms of the stars will perform old and new songs in a virtual ABBA special set to screen on television at the end of the year. The foursome – Benny Andersson (71), Anni-Frid Lyngstad (72), Agnetha Fältskog (68) and Bjorn Ulvaeus (73) – released a joint statement saying: “The decision to go ahead with the exciting ABBA avatar tour project had an unexpected consequence. We all four felt that, after some 35 years, it could be fun to join forces again and go into the recording studio. So we did. And it was like time had stood still ... And it feels good.”

?? ?? The Swedish quartet is taking a chance and releasing new music for the first time in 35 years. Holograms will sing ABBA’s biggest hits.
