The joy of knitting

- A Kidd, Tasman

My physiotherapist suggested I knit – in his opinion, it was the best exercise for my brain after sustaining a brain injury. Friends duly brought wool and needles into the rehab ward for me. A neurologist also advised knitting because it keeps everyone young and on top of their game. I was reminded of this when reading the excellent article about Millicent McComb (07.05.18), who is testament to this and in so doing, benefiting many others.

Well done, Milly – you are an inspiration to get out the needles again.
