Hollywood can be tough on marriages, but this sweet couple makes it look easy. Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson (both 61) celebrated 30 years together on April 30 and the Forrest Gump actor shared some fun photos from their wedding in the ’80s to present day on Instagram.
The couple, who met on the set of his sitcom Bosom Buddies in 1981, tied the knot in 1988 and have two sons together, Chet (27) and Truman (22), and the actor has Colin (40) and Elizabeth (35) from his first marriage.
Saying their love and marriage is “sacred to us”, the Sully star also shared how much he adores his wife first thing in the morning, calling her “smokin’ hot!”. Now that’s true love!
