Lamborghinis, billion-dollar diamonds and opulent parties on private islands – this film certainly lives up to its name! Crazy Rich Asians follows Nick Young as he takes his Chinese-American girlfriend home to Shanghai to meet his extremely wealthy – and not to mention picky – family. It’s refreshing to see an all-Asian cast in a major Hollywood film and the storyline gives you an interesting insight into the luxurious lives of the Shanghai super-rich. It definitely has its sweet and cheesy romantic moments, as well as some funny one-liners to keep you hooked.
