AFTER SIX SEASONS, JONNY LEE MILLER STILL LOVES PLAYING SHERLOCK HOLMES
The story of Sherlock Holmes has been reimagined many times since 1887. Elementary is another modern-day TV adaptation, where a disgraced Sherlock begins a new journey, starting life over in New York City. A new season of the series has just kicked off and actor Jonny Lee Miller is excited to be back in the boots of the iconic detective.
Even after playing the same character for six seasons, Jonny (45) insists he still loves being Sherlock. “I love getting to say cool stuff,” he tells. “I know it sounds really cheesy, but not only is he is super-smart, but he’s pretty funny, too. I love his dry sense of humour – I really enjoy playing that.”
Lucy Liu stars as Dr Joan Watson alongside Jonny’s wayward English detective.Elementary, Prime, Tuesdays at 10.30pm
