If you still have broad beans grow­ing, you might be in­ter­ested to know that you can eat those won­der­ful pods lined with fluffy white mem­branes in­stead of throw­ing them out once you have your beans. Sim­ply take a hand­ful of pods and place them in a bowl with 2 tbsp flour, some salt and pep­per, and 1 tsp each of pow­dered cumin and co­rian­der. Toss them around, then fry in oil un­til golden brown. Serve with yo­ghurt.
