If you still have broad beans growing, you might be interested to know that you can eat those wonderful pods lined with fluffy white membranes instead of throwing them out once you have your beans. Simply take a handful of pods and place them in a bowl with 2 tbsp flour, some salt and pepper, and 1 tsp each of powdered cumin and coriander. Toss them around, then fry in oil until golden brown. Serve with yoghurt.
