Tea at a friend’s house in 2015 proved to be just the right place at just the right time for Jodi and Ben. And three years later, under a starry night sky, Ben decided it was the perfect time to propose. “He asked me to come out and look at the ‘cool’ sky. He had set up candles and had bubbles poured... It was so amazing,” Jodi tells. The Winton couple celebrated their big day at Ben’s family home in Bannockburn on November 24. While it mostly went smoothly, it was all hands on deck when rain interrupted the outside reception. “The boys cleaned out the big shed, made a dance floor, took the beer bath and wine barrels, candles and chairs inside. We ate cake and dessert, and danced up a storm on the old shed floor. It worked out amazing!”
