Mullein ear oil

-

A common plant in New Zealand, mullein can often be found growing on the side of the road. It has a central spike covered in tiny yellow flowers. If you’ve got a sore ear, combine a handful of mullein flowers and a clove of garlic, sliced, in a jar. Cover with olive oil, put the lid on and let it sit on a sunny windowsill for a few days. Strain and use 2-3 drops in your ear twice a day. You can warm it first if you prefer.
