NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE KNOW THIS ABOUT ME, BUT I’M VERY GOOD

AT… Doing the alphabet backwards and scuba diving. Two things that don’t often come up in conversation. THE SONG I LISTEN TO WHEN I NEED A PICK-MEUP IS… All Star by Smash Mouth. You might laugh, but I bet you will start smiling if you play it!

THE SHOP I CAN’T WALK PAST IS… Studs, the earpiercing store. Sorry, Mum, I have a few additions on my right ear.

MY DREAM SUNDAY IS…

In Pauanui, climbing the mountain, and spending the day swimming and in the sun, followed by a barbecue and an early night. Pauanui is my favourite place on the planet.

MY COMFORT FOOD IS… Mac and cheese. It feels like a hug on the inside!

THE REALITY TV SERIES I LOVE IS… The Amazing Race. I would love to be on this show or host it!

THE BEST THING MY PARENTS TAUGHT ME WAS… Always celebrate others, be kind, dream big and be generous. I feel so lucky to come from a family of epic humans who dedicate a lot of their time to being of service to others. THE BRAVEST THING I’VE EVER DONE IS… Pursuing a career in acting. It is so full of uncertainty, and ups and downs; it really is a challenge and a joy. I have jumped out of planes, been swimming with sharks, walked cheetahs and eaten crazy foods, but I consider them more fun. A career in the arts is a brave and bold move, and anyone who is pursuing a dream should always be proud of walking a road less travelled. MY GREATEST WEAKNESS IS… My people pleasing.

I am not sure if this is something one can ever overcome. I am a proud people pleaser, but it also means I am prone to burnout and exhaustion.

MY BIGGEST HERO IS… My mum, my nana and my sister. They are strong, kind and delightful women.

WHEN I WAS A CHILD, I WANTED TO GROW UP AND… Join the circus or be a vet! I still really want to do both.

THE THING I WISH

WOULD COME BACK IN FASHION IS… Pulp platforms, and pineapple and Malibu drinks.
