Why dance? We asked a few of the dancers why they like belonging to the Kamo Scottish Country Dance Club. The answers included: ‘‘It’s really fun’’, ‘‘I’ve done Scottish country dancing all my life’’, ‘‘I’ve always wanted to try it’’, ‘‘It keeps me fit’’, ‘‘It’s a social occasion’’, ‘‘It’s a friendly, supportive group’’, ‘‘I love to dance’’, ‘‘It’s great to learn something new’’.

The group will be hosting a give-it-a-go evening on Tuesday, March 15, at the Kamo War Memorial Hall in Boswell St, Kamo.

All welcome to come along and learn the steps of a

Scottish Country Dance. No experience necessary. It will be a fun evening, starting at 7.30pm, with supper provided. Vaccinatio­n passes are required for the venue.
