Caffeine & Classics is a FREE monthly classic vehicle meet open to all classic vehicles, including classic and vintage, hot rods, muscle cars and motorcycles. Any vehicle at least 30 years old is welcome, and newer vehicles that are scratch-built, obscure or exotic also welcomed. Food and coffee will be available and the laid-back atmosphere is the perfect way to spend your Sunday.

NORTH CANTERBURY CLASSIC GATHERING

WHERE: BETTER HALF CAFÉ, SH1 LEITHFIELD This new event may start as a small gathering, but organisers hope it will grow over the years. Open to all vintage, classic and muscle cars, as well as hot rods, motorcycles, caravans, boats, etc. Obscure, exotic, unusual also welcome. If you want to buy or sell this may be the place to visit? Food and drink will be available in the café and there will be a gazebo in the centre of the large grassed area in front of the cafe, for shelter. Normal gravel car park for spectators – or park on Ashworths Beach Road and walk in. Free entry for all. However no dogs allowed. Only alcohol purchased at the bar may be consumed on the premises, no BYO. No smoking. Due to the nature of the ground all above must be strictly adhered to.

VCCNZ DAFFODIL RALLY FOR CANCER

The VCCNZ’s national day is back stronger than ever for 2021, with the club teaming up with the Cancer Society of New Zealand to raise funds and help our local communities. Special events are planned throughout New Zealand, including:

THE SURGERY SPRINTS
WHEN: AUGUST 1, SEPTEMBER 26 & NOVEMBER 28
WHERE: CIRCUIT CHRIS AMON, MANFEILD The format of this popular race series is very simple – a pair of cars is released onto the track at ten second intervals and they complete three laps from a flying start. Points are then awarded according to the times each driver achieves and these points go towards individual and club prizes.

26TH MINI NATIONALS 2021
WHEN: OCTOBER 22-24
WHERE: CHRISTCHURCH
The 2021 Mini Nationals will be held Labour Weekend and the programme will combine typical Mini Nationals activities including several activities at Mike Pero Motorsport Park, Ruapuna, including a motorkhana, funkhana, cruise session and track session. On Sunday, the Minis will gather at Riccarton Racecourse for the Show & Shine, with visitors encouraged to drop by and check out the cars.
The Racecourse Hotel is the main venue for evening activities.

TARGA NZ 2021
WHEN: OCTOBER 26-30
WHERE: NEW PLYMOUTH–HAVELOCK NORTH Targa New Zealand 2021 is returning to the traditional dates, starting with documentation on Labour Day Monday October 25, and will be the five-day format, finishing on Saturday October 30. There will also be a two-day regional event covering the last two days of Targa New Zealand. Both five-day and two-day formats will cater for the Targa Competition, Targa Tour and the Targa VCC Time Trial.
