With the monthly Caffeine and Classics at Smales Farm now defunct, Auckland classic car enthusiasts have a new regular event. The first of these Meguiar’s-sponsored meetings took place on January 30. Access the venue via the Maurice Road entrance. Note: vaccine passports will be required for entry.

Owners of all types of cars gather together to show off their cars and talk about their automobiles over coffee. Caffeine and Gasoline is the sister event to the nowfamous Caffeine and Classics. All cars, enthusiasts and spectators welcome. Grab a coffee from Aoraki Coffee Roasters and talk everything cars! 10am–1pm.
NORTH CANTERBURY CLASSIC GATHERING WHEN: LAST SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH WHERE: BETTER HALF CAFÉ, SH1 LEITHFIELD
This new event may start as a small gathering, but organisers hope it will grow over the years. Open to all vintage, classic and muscle cars, as well as hot rods, motorcycles, caravans, boats etc. Food and drink will be available in the café. Normal gravel car park for spectators – or park on Ashworths Beach Road and walk in. Free entry for all. Only alcohol purchased at the bar may be consumed on the premises (no BYO). No smoking and no dogs. Due to the location, all of the above must be strictly adhered to.

CLASSIC ALPINE TOUR (CAT) WHEN: APRIL 1–4 WHERE: QUEENSTOWN
The third running of this popular event begins in Queenstown on Friday, April 1 with the traditional welcome cocktail party at Thurlby Domain. Organisers now confirm that the touring route has been finalised and will, as usual, have an alpine flavour.
