NZ Gardener - Garden Diary 2018 - - Planted & Sown This Month -

• Seeds to sow (in the north/frost- free ar­eas): broad beans, cab­bages, cap­sicums (in­doors), chillies (in­doors), car­rots, cauliflow­ers, cel­ery, let­tuces, radishes, sil­ver­beet, spinach, spring onions and toma­toes (in­doors in trays).

• Seeds to sow (in the south/cold in­land ar­eas): bok choy, broad beans, cab­bages, chillies (un­der warmth in­doors), kohlrabi, let­tuces, onions and toma­toes (in­doors in trays).

• Pun­nets/seedlings to plant (north): as­para­gus, gar­lic, let­tuces, rhubarb, salad greens and shal­lots.

• Pun­nets/seedlings to plant (south): as­para­gus, cab­bages, cel­ery, gar­lic, let­tuces, sil­ver­beet and spinach.
