Feed strawberry plants

NZ Gardener - Garden Diary 2018 - - Vegetable Trials -

Early varieties of strawberries start ripening in late September. If your plants are blossoming, start counting down the days! Side-dress with a potassium-rich fertiliser (like tomato food) or blood and bone. If you haven’t planted strawberries yet, it’s not too late. Potted seedlings are still available in garden centres.
