NZ Gardener - Garden Diary 2018 - - Crop Of The Month -

Comfrey leaves are full of nutrients at this time of year, having amassed plenty of trace elements from the soil during summer. You can get three harvests from your comfrey patch during summer, but this will be the last for the year. Soak leaves in warm water for a week or two; apply as a liquid tonic to vege leaves or onto the soil at their base.
