HOLY BASIL CHAI
Ingredients 1 cup filtered water 1 cup almond or coconut milk 1 tablespoon dried holy basil 1 teaspoon ginger root 1 clove ½-1 teaspoon cinnamon powder ¼ teaspoon cardamon seeds Honey or stevia leaves, to taste
Combine water and almond
or coconut milk in a saucepan and slowly heat until just about to boil. Remove from heat and add holy basil, ginger, cinnamon and cardamom. Cover with a lid and steep for 10-15 minutes. Strain and add honey or stevia if desired.
