Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Collaig Silver’

NZ Gardener - - In Season -

This is one of the finest of the many silver variegated pittosporums, combining pewtered sage leaves edged with cream, with the faintest tinge of pink at the very edges. The handsome black twigs perfectly set off the foliage and in good years, you may even get those chocolatescented spring flowers nestling in the foliage. Sadly it does not seem to be in New Zealand yet, but ‘Silver Magic’ is a very similar variety that is widely available here.
