Forget-me-not and spurge

NZ Gardener - - In Season -

The classic sizzling combo of blue and yellow is as cheerful as a gardener in spring. Here, the foaming tide of forget-me-nots (Myosotidium) rub shoulders with brassy spurges in a gravel garden. Mid-scene, it’s the compact chrome bracts of Euphorbia

polychroma which soon fades to green leafy mounds while the larger Euphorbia

characias at the back will, if deadheaded carefully, leave the garden furnished in a glaucous ruff.
