Having experienced severe back pain which meant I couldn’t reach the ground to plant seeds, I found a method that works well. I made a little trench with the rake and then used a length of polythene pipe, about 70cm long, and dropped the seeds in one by one. It was very easy to position the pipe exactly where I wanted the seed to grow. Seeds planted, all done standing up. Shirley Marcussen, GOLDEN BAY
