Yarrows are perfect for droughttolerant summer gardens but they can be a bit unsociable – either they run everywhere or peter out after one or two wet winters. This is a more recent hybrid with a robust and well-behaved constitution. It would make a great plant for a picking garden or mixed with drought-tolerant blue flowers such as agastache and sea hollies. (Marshwood Gardens)
