BEST BIS­CUIT CRUM­BLE

This oaty, nutty crum­ble is great sprin­kled over stewed fruit, ice cream, tri­fles or in par­faits. Whip up a batch and keep it in a jar in the fridge, ready for last-minute desserts. Roughly smash a packet of An­zac bis­cuits and place in a pro­ces­sor with 2 ta­ble­spoons melted but­ter, a small hand­ful of chopped toasted nuts and a good pinch each of ground cin­na­mon and five- spice pow­der. Pulse to a rough crumb. Store air­tight in the fridge. Makes about 2 cups
