TANTALUS ESTATE
Following a complete renovation led by Auckland’s Cheshire Architects, Waiheke Island’s Tantalus Estate restaurant is open for business. The former vineyard building has been transformed, with hand-painted tiles created in situ by Auckland artist Ross Lewis and vine-festooned lighting throughout made by hand by Epsilon. This lovely space, which sits among the vines, is open for lunch every day and private dinners by special arrangement. 70-72 Onetangi Rd, Waiheke Island, (09) 372 2625, tantalus.co.nz
