Date Por­ridge with Cof­fee Syrup

por­ridge, med­jool dates, ca­cao nibs, es­presso, maple syrup, plain yo­ghurt

Make por­ridge to your usual recipe ad­ding 2 chopped med­jool dates per serve. Spoon into bowls and scat­ter with ex­tra chopped dates and some ca­cao nibs. Driz­zle with cof­fee syrup made by com­bin­ing a shot of es­presso cof­fee with an equal quan­tity of maple syrup. Top with a good dol­lop of plain yo­ghurt.
