SILKY SMOOTH MERLOT

Selaks The Taste Collection wines have beautiful labels and names like Velvety Pinot Noir, Berries & Cream Rosé and Silky Smooth Merlot. The latter, a 2016 vintage, landed on my doorstep recently and was very enjoyable and smooth especially after decanting. All are reasonably priced and available from supermarkets and liquor outlets nationwide. The merlot is $22 and is great with wintry stews or roasted meat dishes. selaks.co.nz.
