HATS OFF TO DOT AND NEIL

I waited eagerly for your November issue knowing that you were featuring Dot Smith’s wonderful castle. It was delightful to see it on the cover and brought back memories of my visit there in March 2017. I was fortunate enough to organise an excursion for a group from Taranaki who were the first visitors to be allowed inside the castle. What an amazing experience! Having read Dot’s book, I was overwhelmed by her vision, determination and zest for life.
