Moor by design

Renowned designer and artist Piero Fornasetti loved the figure of the Moor, perhaps because it belonged to the artistic imagery of his favourite city, Venice. His son Barnaba Fornasetti, who carried on his father’s legacy and opened Milan’s Atelier Fornasetti, has used the Moor bust in a vase, centrepiece and lamp holder.
