Paint it white

White painted floors were considered unusual 10 or so years ago when Kiri made her bold decision. She’d already sanded the mataī once (and had them polyurethaned) when the family first moved into the house in the mid 1990s. They had so much borer that sanding them again wasn’t an option but James took a little convincing. “Before we moved our furniture in, the house looked really white and James thought we’d made a terrible mistake.” But all was fine when colour was added back in with furniture and artwork. The couple used Resene Sidewalk paint that exactly matches the Resene ‘Soapstone’ walls.
