I have just enjoyed your March edition and been blown away by the diversity and beauty of your offering. I had given up on magazines here in Australia. I finally decided if I saw one more house owned by baby boomer white folks from the Northern Beaches I would scream. Then today while holidaying I was drawn to your magazine and my husband said if the Kiwi magazine is as different to ours as the Kiwi PM is to ours (pause for head shake and sad face) then give it a go. He was right, you are wonderful and I will now become a new subscriber – thank you for spreading a little New Zealand magic into my world.

You loved... the mid-century magic created by one Taranaki homeowner who faithfully renovated his 1960s home. One reader called it “very impressive... envious of your stair handrail; didn’t mid-century design do some great metal work.” The house also featured in our May issue.
