TARANAKI GARDEN FESTIVAL

This annual festival has again partnered with the Taranaki Arts Trail to present 44 gardens and 84 artists for this year’s line-up. There will also be 27 properties open for the Taranaki Sustainable Backyards Trail. 29 October to 7 November, gardenfestnz.co.nz.

MARY QUANT This exhibition at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki, from the V&A in London, celebrates iconic fashion designer Mary Quant who is best known for her fun and youthful designs in the swinging ’60s. More than 120 garments will be on show. From 19 November, aucklandartgallery.com.
