While food and drink get all the love in Clevedon, there’s another side – walking trails that make the most of the region’s bucolic scenery. Head to Duder Regional Park (left) where trail durations range from 30 minutes to 2.5 hours. With some of the best coastal views in Tāmaki Makaurau, the park is perched on the pōhutukawafringed Whakakaiwhara Peninsula, which reaches out into Tāmaki Strait. Don’t be surprised if you don’t see another human: the 148ha means you can de-stress in peace. Warning: you’ll probably take far too many photos of the glorious scenery.
