Warm purply greys up the neutral ante
As our interior tastes shift away from cool greys, it’s time to consider alternatives that are a little more interesting, yet are flexible enough to provide the base for a variety of accent colours and decor styles. Mauve-greys may be the answer. They can be misty and otherworldly, warm and saturated, regal or feminine. Pair them with dusky pink, bronze and mid-grey velvet for a luxe-looking space and try adding battens for architectural interest. Installing battens in a grid is a classic format but there really is no limit to the way you choose to arrange them. Used vertically, they will add visual height to a room and can be used to frame a statement artwork.
