LAYING PAVERS

Good practice when laying pavers:

-

Start from the straightes­t convenient edge.

Always work uphill on slopes. Maintain the manufactur­er’s recommende­d joint width – typically 3mm.

Regularly check the laying pattern for alignment/ squareness and accuracy. Compact the pavers into the bedding sand (carry out a test on a small area to gauge the required sand depth before compacting). Compaction using a plate compactor is recommende­d, but for small areas, use a rubber mallet or
