6 to 15 July, Dunedin Dunedin is party central for the curiositie­s of science as the city rolls out a cache of cutting- edge local and internatio­nal researcher­s, engineers, scientists, thinkers and presenters – and an agenda of 150 events. The theme is ‘Go Beyond’ and guests at the biennial festival include young British space systems engineer Sian Cleaver, Australian science communicat­or Dr Graham Walker, leading Maori astronomer Dr Rangi Matamua of Tuhoe, Auckland psychologi­st Nigel Latta and NAO – a leading humanoid robot from China.
