6 to 8 July, in and around Blenheim From political satire and poetry to historical fiction, family memoirs and food writing, Marlboroug­h’s mid-winter bash of books delivers a heavyweigh­t line- up of literary talent. Included on the list are current New Zealand Poet Laureate Selina Tusitala Marsh, Vincent O’Sullivan, Jenny Pattrick, Glenn Colquhoun, Tusiata Avia, Nicola Galloway, Diana Wichtel, Tom Scott, Harry Broad, Tina Makereti, Atholl Anderson and Alan Carter. The Boathouse Theatre in Blenheim is the festival hub, along with four picturesqu­e vineyard settings. marlboroug­hbookfest.co.nz
