To 22 Oc­to­ber, The Suter Te Ara­toi o Whakatu, Nel­son A col­lab­o­ra­tive mul­ti­sen­sory in­stal­la­tion by three South Is­land­based artists – pain­ter Robin Slow, carver Brian Flintoff and mu­si­cian Bob Bick­er­ton – com­bines lu­mi­nous can­vases, com­plexly carved taonga puoro (mu­si­cal in­stru­ments) and a sound­scape to cre­ate an im­mer­sive en­vi­ron­ment which ex­am­ines con­cepts of har­mony, mem­ory and sto­ry­telling.
