Harcourts Hawke’s Bay Arts Festival
15 to 28 October, Havelock North, Hastings and Napier Forty shows span 14 days as Hawke’s Bay’s fourth arts festival unrolls across stages, city spaces and inner streets delivering cutting-edge theatre, cabaret, circus acts, classical concerts, dance and song. Key acts include By a Thread (aerial aerobatics from top Australian emerging circus artists,) soulful Kiwi singer-songwriter Louis Baker and Wild Dogs Under My Skirt – a collection of poems by Samoan New Zealander Tusiata Avia converted into theatre by six Pasifika actresses.
