Time Ongoing: Pauline Rhodes

30 November to 24 February, CoCA |Toi Moroki Centre of Contemporary Art, Christchurch A site-specific installation by prominent Ōtautahi Christchurch artist Pauline Rhodes comprises pods of natural and recycled materials and reflects her interest in the environment, ecology and economics. Featuring tree branches, soil, plywood, weathered plastics and reused materials sourced from her earthquakedamaged studio and saved from previous works, Time Ongoing has the endemic wiry shrub Muehlenbeckia astonii or shrubby tororaro as a central element.
