Tutus on Tour
26 February to 16 March, from Kāpiti to Gore
The Royal New Zealand Ballet rolls out its summer season across 16 regional theatres with a four-part programme featuring the famous White Swan pas de deux from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, the celebrated Romantic-era ballet Pas de Quatre (1845) by Jules Perrot and two dynamic works created for its cancelled Venus Rising 2020 season. Choreographer Andrea Schermoly’s work Within Without depicts the pain of unintended childlessness while Sarah Foster-Sproull’s chamber ballet Ultra Folly exposes the dancers’ secrets and inner-self. rnzb.org.nz
