OATMEAL AND CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

This recipe makes six large jars so you will need to evenly portion out the ingredient­s.

the bench and usee

13½ cups rolled oats

4½ half cups brown sugar

4½ cups plain flour

4½ cups chocolate chips

4½ tsp salt

3 tsp baking soda

6 tbsp dried milk

2¼ cups rolled oats

¾ cup brown su sugar ugar

¾ cup chocolatea­te e chips

¾ tsp salt

½ tsp baking soda

1 tbsp dried milk

Seal the jars with h screwtop lids. Place a descriptio­ni lbllabel withith th the name of your cookies and the date you placed the mix in the jar. Add a tag or recipe card with the instructio­ns for making the cookies.

INSTRUCTIO­NS

Combine dry ingredient­s with an egg, ¾ cup of soft butter and ¼ cup of water in a large bowl. Mix to blend all ingredient­s. Place in spoonfuls on a baking sheet. They will spread a bit so leave a bit of room. Bake at 180°C for 10-12 minutes. Leave them on the baking paper until they are cold and place in your biscuit tin. They are really delicious and will disappear in no time.
