How to turn odd drawers into a matching set

This project takes mismatched drawers and creates an eclectic, bespoke chest to fit around them. It’s a fun but complex design, as random drawers will differ in size and width.

Precise measuring and cutting will be essential for a tidy finish.

We’ll outline the principles of how to create a dresser like this because your drawers won’t be the same size as ours.

We used three benchtop panels (upcycled, reconstituted wood, 2200mm x 600mm x 26mm) and two packets of 50mm screws to build the dresser framework. However, you’ll need to do your own calculations, as the number of panels you’ll need will depend on the size and number of drawers you want to include.
