BUCKWHEAT

attracts a wide range of beneficial insects, including lacewings, ladybirds and parasitic wasps. The larvae of lacewings eat aphids and spider mites; ladybirds and their larvae do too.

Once flowering is finished,buckwheat can be cut down and left to compost in place.
