Ducks need a balanced diet for optimum health. This changes as they progress through different physiological stages. Young, rapidly-growing ducks require a high level of protein and energy. However, as they mature, their growth slows down and their nutrient requirements change. It's a good idea to start ducklings on a high-powered starter feed such as NRM Meatbird Crumble, then at 4-6 weeks of age transition them onto NRM Pullet Grower Pellets.
