Hel’s tip for easy cleanup

After pruning, I drive a flail mower (behind a tractor) over the trimmings. It mulches them, which is a lot quicker and far less work than dragging them away for burning or disposal. Mowing is a critical job on the farm, especially before we harvest, so it's easier to pick up the fallen nuts, and they stay dry.
