NAME: Troy Jenkins FROM: Auckland MOTORSPORT EXPERIENCE: Competitive drifting for four years. WHAT’S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR CAREER? Winning the Pro-Am Championship in early 2015. Competing in the recent International Drift Challenge at the World Time Attack Challenge in Sydney was also a huge event for us. WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO AT THE SUMMER BASH? Hampton Downs, which is one of our home tracks and it’s only 20 minutes from our workshop in South Auckland. The opportunity to drift the International Circuit alongside some of the best drivers in New Zealand is going to be rad!

NAME: Cole Armstrong FROM: Mount Maunganui MOTORSPORT EXPERIENCE: Drifting for seven years WHAT’S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR CAREER? Finishing fifth at the World Drift Series in China, where I got to meet and drive against my heroes in the drifting world. That was mind-blowing and I learnt so much from them! WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO AT THE SUMMER BASH? Hopefully getting a chance to drift alongside Mad Mike and RADBUL. I’m also looking forward to trying some new tricks and pushing my car to the limit. NAME: ‘Fanga Dan’ Woolhouse FROM: Whangarei MOTORSPORT EXPERIENCE: Karting and drifting WHAT’S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR CAREER: Winning the D1NZ National Drifting Championship titles in 2006 and 2013. WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO AT THE SUMMER BASH? Solid door-banging, paint-swapping battles with Mad Mike himself. Some of my favourite battles have been against Mike, but it’s been a long time since we’ve gone head to head. He’s a driver I can trust 110 per cent — we both know how to push the limits and put on one hell of a show. Plus, Mike and his wife Toni never do anything by halves, so I know this event will be epic!
