Year-onyear, it’s the holy grail of New Zealand car shows and draws in modified car owners from all corners of the country. Last year marked big changes for the event, the biggest in the event’s 22-year span, with the switch up to a three-day format over two weekends! That same format returns this year, with the party getting started at ASB Showgrounds on the Saturday before moving to Pukekohe for Chrome-style action. But the drag racers haven’t been cut out, with a dedicated date (3 March) to ensure that what has been a mainstay of the event for 22 years doesn’t fade away.
