AACHAL ‘ARCHEE’ LAL @WUNOSHI
We know and love her style; crisp photos with beautiful hues, perfect locations, and outstanding cars to showcase. Known as ‘@wunoshi’ on Instagram, Aachal ‘Archee’ Lal produces high-quality content of an inclusive array of vehicles, all while maintaining her own home-built 1972 TA22 Toyota Celica.
Born into a family full of petrolheads and handed spanners and screwdrivers before she could walk, Archee’s interest in the automotive scene peaked at 16 through helping her dad on his projects and attending any meets or events featuring classics or cars from the JDM scene. Owing her inspiration to her dad’s knowledge and ability to achieve anything he desires, Archee and her dad took on the TA22 Celica restoration project in their home garage in 2017, including creating a full set of homebuilt full-metal fender arches, rear boot lip, and front lip made from scratch!
Featuring a stock 2T-G double-overhead camshaft engine with five-speed, Watanabe-style rims, and TA45 fender mirrors, the rest of the car remains relatively stock, with only the upgrades to the front strut bar, a replacement power-steering box, an aftermarket single stainless muffler, disc brakes, Pioneer TS-C20 speakers in the rear window, and an aftermarket steering wheel. Future plans? A fresh motor is first on the list — which she insists won’t be a 2J — and some small exterior changes to wheels and livery.
It’s no wonder then that her sharp photography and impeccable scene-setting has earned her a great following on social media. After getting her hands on a Canon 70D five years ago and “graduating from YouTube university”, Archee developed her eye for the art, preferring to capture finer details that showcase the owners’ personal touches — from small decals to outrageous motor swaps or unique modifications. Describing photography as being as “satisfying as flipping your pillow over to the cold side in the middle of a hot night”, she gets out to photograph beautiful machines and meet passionate and like-minded owners, continuing to push the boundaries of exceptional imagery.
